Essential cookies
Tockly uses an essential session cookie named tockly_session to keep an account signed in, protect access and apply session security. It is necessary for the service to work and is not used for advertising. Signing out clears the active browser cookie; server-side session records expire under Tockly’s session controls.
Email tracking
Reminder emails may contain a one-pixel tracking image and uniquely coded response links. They can indicate an email open, link use or submitted response. Email privacy settings can block or pre-load images, so open information is an indication rather than proof that a person read the message.
Website analytics and advertising
Tockly records first-party analytics for its public websites, including Tockly Equine, such as the page visited, approximate country, region and city supplied by its hosting provider, and the referring website where available. A separate anonymous identifier is stored in the browser for each website to distinguish unique visitors, and a temporary session identifier distinguishes separate visits. Tockly also identifies likely automated traffic and excludes identifiable administrator activity from genuine visitor figures where possible. Tockly does not store an IP address in its page-view records, use third-party analytics or advertising cookies, combine visitor identifiers between its websites, or carry out cross-site behavioural tracking.
Your controls
You can block or delete cookies and website storage using your browser settings. Blocking the essential session cookie will prevent account sign-in from working; blocking browser storage may prevent Tockly from distinguishing one visit from another in its anonymous website statistics.
